Sang Nila Utama

Im sure most of us know this story... but put it into dance? Or nice would it be... But Im so sad that I've missed the show becoz I forgot all abt it... been having diarrhoea and dying to get out of my hse after sitting near the toilet bowl for the whole sat morning... I dun care anymore... its super boring and the more i slp, the more sick i feel...

Guess who is this fren of mine? So charming...

Actually I cant tell if he is the one... I only know he's the lead... and he doesnt look a bit like him... but this is him... my most talented fren in the arts field... this is one of his show... I tried to be present for some of his shows... and Im sorry I missed this fantastic one... the colour of the costumes are really brillant... damn pretty... Can go to

lots of celebration in the mth of Sep...

next is dear's bday on 13 sep... meet dear at Coca restaurant on 12sep... its the 1st time eat at Coca... we usually go to thosw cheapo steamboat buffet at bugis... one pax abt $15... but coz its dear bday, so we decided to eat sth gd... and its realli gd... eveything is so fresh compared to xian de lai (the one tat we always patronise at bugis)... big fresh prawns, and nice fish... eat steamboat shd eat more prawns.. coz its the most worth it one... so we realli ordered a lot of prawns... the chicken is nice too, and the pork slice is so thin and red... very full after dinner.. and i tink we ate the longest... we reachat 8pm and eat all the way to 9.45pm... we see some tables already left, and another group took over the table, but we're still there... lol...

thomas and zixiang wanted to cel dear's bday for him... tats why we cel on our own the night b4.. and i made him stay in my hm until 12 midnight so that i'll sing bday song for him... eating with zixiang is realli a pain... maybe we have diff appetite... thomas wann eat seafood... so he suggested long beach, but dear scared its too ex coz they're paying for the meal... and long beach have to include GST and svc charge... i aso have craving for crabs... so I suggested amk... we always went ith my family and tat coffee chop zi char is gd... their crab is comparable with long beach i tink... maybe sauce not as gd... but freshness, ichiban... den xiang suggested outback steak... which dear dun eat... and shdnt the bday boy decides where to eat??? anyway iinsist i dun wanna go outback... co its ex, and thomas doesnt wan to eat western too... so we insisted on amk crab... and off we go...

making much noise while ordering... he wanna have seafood soup, and till complain the soup has a fishy smell, and prawns are not fresh... sigh~ we all tink the soup is ok... and even dear who is so damn scared of fishy smell, aso tinks the soup is alright... and the prawns are quite fresh compare to other zi char stalls already... its onli a coffee shop... no fresh prawns for this picky person... bill came to $168... 2 crabs, 1 thai chicken, 1 duck, 1 cereal prawns, 1 kang kong, and 1 soup... and we cant finish the chicken and duck... so that gf of his wanna bring to lor halus to feed dogs... so zixiang went to take a box from the stall, and the gal ask :

Waitress: cannot finish wanna bring hm and eat?"
Xiang: No
Waitress: (look at him and thinking -dun wan bring hm eat den da pao for what)
Xiang: (noitce tat he saithe wrong thing) Yes, yes, yes... (i tink he wanna tell her tat he's da pao-ing all the bones, and meats to feed stray dogs)

I wonder what will her reaction be then...

its a ulu place, with no st lights... and its the place where big lorrys deliver sand... so the place is dusty, eerie, and full of sand, dirty... with abt 20-30 hungry stray dogs... omg... i dun dare o go down the car... i tink they will juz hop onto me and bite me... tinking im their food... eeks... maybe i realli dun have a kind heart...

dessert @ airport swensens... ordered a big earthquake... and we tot of eating the cakes there. but the waitress says she's not sure if its hala.... so we cant eat inside... but we can cut the cake inside... and they gave us a free sundae...

I guess my updates on this blog is aving backlogs too... Just like my work... Just a brief updates for the past few wks... just in case u guys gets bored... I've finalli completed my updates on my bkk trip...

before i left for BKK, the weekend, i attended my baby nephew (my cousin's son) , Jun Kai's full month party... he's not my 1st nephew k... I'm already an auntie when I was 1 yr old... I had a 22 yrs old niece liao... but then we dun tok one... no age gap... but maybe wrong generation... haha... and she's weird la... lol...

cute right??? he's asleep... but i tink he's not... he's just pretending to be asleep... actualli im scared to touch small babies... coz i tink they are damn fragile... so i didnt realli touch him... juz play with his fingers...

9th Sep was daddy's bday... not muc cel coz we got no money liao... haha.. big meals every day in bkk... so juz a simple meal at hm... and a small bday cake tat i bought...

lookng forward to weekends every Monday... den start counting down to the no of days to weekend... and finalli... its weekend!!!

went suntec shopping ytd... from 1pm to 5pm.. tired... den went back hm to rest... so sleepy... took a short nap and head down to bedok to get my new hp... i finalli bought it... after much consideration.. i decided to get it... sold off my N95 @ $380... signed a 2 yr plan for $238... still got money left... yeah... dear's gettng it too... couple phone!!!

Day 4:

nth to do... decided to shop downstairs... actualli every morning we will walk ard... coz needa take cab from there... so juz walk walk and see see... oh ya... downstairs is Pratunam... den went to the wholesale shopping center... dear, kor and daddy bought shirts... and den we roam ard chinatown... day time chinatown got lots of things too... went to a place tat sells wholesale toys... and dear bought his pooh bear there... reminds me of jinli and corde... tat time we went and jin li bought all the ducks hm...

lunch is wanton mee again... and daddy bought the noodles back to sg... the uncle is a teochew... and most ppl in chinatown are teochew... feel so homely there... no need to tok like chicken toking to duck... lots of ppl selling lots of food... kor bought zhui kueh... walk and eat..

went to eat birds nest again... since we still got some $$ left over... decided to spend all on gd food... weather gets hotter and we gets more and more tired... so after mummy bought l her goodies... some for grandma, this auntie, tat auntie... took taxi back to hotel to rest... and me and dear continue to shop downstairs...

bought another 2 watches, 2 tights... wanted to get shoes but min 10pcs... cant mix design somemore... so means not for sale la... went back hotel, had a hot bath...

so dinner was at somboon again... but we decided to try another branch... got other shopping centers there... thou'its kinda far... damn tired after dinner... walked a stretch of night mkt... den went back to hotel... needa pack my stuffs... so many things...

we went with 5 luggage, and back with 5 luggages and 3 handcarry... and one luggage is full of goodies.. lucky nv over weight...

slpt early... and dear and kor went to chang massage... im too tired for massage liao... juz knock out...

Day 5:

wake up at 4.30am... the driver is picking us up at 5.30am... bathe and packed my remaining stuffs... had a hard time waking dear up... sometimes feel quite fed up... i realise i dun like too wake ppl up... i dun have the patience to call him, den wait for his response... and everytime is "5 min" den another "5 min" den again... 5 min... how many 5 min u wan... sometimes i juz tink i might as well dump him in the rm... so fed up!!! maybe im the kind who alarm ring and i'll jump up... and i met those who realli have difficulty waking up, i feel so helpless when i cant wake them up... and at the same time, irritated...

went to get my tax refund... onli abt 500 baht... not a lot... checked in luggage... we tried to checked in the hand carry as well... and yes!!! onli 65kg for 5 luggages and 3bags... we still have rm for 10kg leh... shd have buy more then... lol...

burger king for breakfast.. and w nearly missed the flight... the BKK airport is so big... and we walked from one end to another... and its abt time already... omg... we walked so fast and we tot we're the last... almost everyone's waiting for us... but!!! we are not... still got another gal not here yet... after a while... abt 10 min den she come up.. duno if last call was made... but lucky we didnt missed the flight...

back to home sweet home... reached airport at abt 11am... bought some liquor and wine... den waited for taxi... actualli i still tink sg air is still the best... more comfy to breathe... and i feel so safe here... so much better... i duno why but no matter how fun BKK was, i tink prefer my hm sweet hm!!!

so lucky, we bumped into this outside MBK on the sat noon... i guess tey having some "superband"competition... and their dance realli gd lor... this grp reminds me of one of those bands... forgot the band name liao...

Day 3:

Day 3 is chatuchak day... breakfast early in the morning, den head down to chatuchak... now chatuchak is damn big... got 2 sides... and i cant even finish one side... went at 9am... too early, not many shops opened... and its damn hot... so after walking for 1 hr, mummy buay tahan the heat... so they left... onli me and there continued with our shopping... i tink i reali grow fat... i bought XL shorts... omg... and "brikenstocks" slippers... and butterfly slippers for office wear... dear bought a pair of heels for me... cant realli recall what i buy...

kor brought mummy and daddy to temple... den to chinatown to eat wanton mee... and bought some goodies...

me and dear shopped till 1pm... damn tired and hot...stopped by to a mini cafe to have a cold drink... and i put my hand into the ice water and take a piece of ice out to wash my face... feel so shiok... and cooling after the drink... continue to walk for a while... dear bought me a "piggy bank" for me to put in office to save $$... so cute... its winnie the pooh...

went back to hotel... big and small bags... bathed... rested... and headed to MBK for again... i went to do my nails... for pedicure 200 baht, nail art 200 baht, and manicure 200 baht... so i did mani, pedi and nail art on my fingers... total 600 baht... dear went to cut his hair for 180baht... cheap!!!

dinner at SomBoon seafood restaurant... with kor, daddy and mummy... they got into wrong taxi... the driver drove them to another restaurant... and say tat its a new branch... but SomBoon didnt open any branch there... so they got into another cab and came over to meet us... great dinner... big prawns, fresh fish... kor ordered big raw oysters... and squid...
